The historic Bovey Castle is one of the UK’s premier luxury hotels set in the heart of Dartmoor National Park. As well as the main hotel there are a number of private Lodges within the Grounds, two of which are available to be used by Members of The Hideaways Club over the summer months of 2013.

The private stone Lodges each have three en suite bedrooms and comfortable, spacious living areas with countryside views. Fashioned from local granite and vaulted with English oak, each

property echoes the enduring character of Devon’s ancient moorlands. Shaded by woodland, bordered by lakes and manicured lawns, the lodge becomes your own private sanctuary – set within more than 400 acres of Devon countryside and minutes away from the luxurious hospitality of the five-star Bovey Castle.

Guests have access to all of the Castle's wonderful facilities, including the gourmet restaurants. Each Lodge also has its own golf cart for guests to use within the estate.

These properties are made available to Members of The Hideaways Club through a reciprocal use agreement with Exclusive Resorts.

Bovey Castle has a wealth of activities available to ensure guests make the most of their stay in the Devon countryside.  On the estate guests can enjoy archery, clay pigeon shooting, croquet, fishing, falconry demonstrations, cycling and tennis. There is also an 18 hole golf course, a large indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre.  And after a long active day, why not relax with a spa treatment?

During July and August the Bovey Rangers program allows children aged 7 and over to enjoy

all of Bovey’s activities and The Playroom offers traditional arts and crafts activities for younger guests.

When it comes to dining guests will love The Edwardian Grill Restaurant or the Castle Bistro. The Concierge team can also arrange for you to have a tour of the Castle's wine cellars. Or relax in your private Lodge are order from the "Lodge Service Menu" to have afternoon tea or full meals delivered to your Lodge.
